&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;Description of route: Ride from Bremerton around Hood Canal to Edmonds.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;I plan to park in Edmonds and take the 6:41AM Sounder to King Street Station arriving at 7:15 AM in time to ride to and &amp;nbsp;catch the 7:35AM Seattle- Bremerton Ferry.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Planned stops: Tides Restaurant mile 45&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;Weather constraints: Bad air cancels. &amp;nbsp;This ride was scheduled last summer but was &amp;nbsp;postponed &amp;nbsp;due to fires &amp;nbsp;in the Olympics&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Other important details: &amp;nbsp;Parts of this route may include travel on high traffic roads and highways with little or no shoulder. Participants should have a copy of the course and have the navigational skills to follow the route should they become separated from the group. &lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Meet Conway town center (parking across from Tavern) 9:15 AM for a 9:30 AM launch after short ride briefing.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;No restroom at start - available at mile 8.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Metric Century loop ride throughout the Skagit Valley for a coffee stop in LaConner at mile 52.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;A few hills but generally mostly flat.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Moderate to low brisk pace - typically 14 mph AVERAGE overall ride pace at the end of the ride depending on wind and road conditions.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="font-size: 18px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;Meet up at the Snohomish Library at 9:45 for a 10:00 start. We'll ride the trail at a steady pace to the Armar Trail Head for a short break for snacks and good conversations. Return via the trail with a side trip into Lake Stevens for coffee at Biscuit and Bean.&amp;nbsp; Pace iwll be high steady.&amp;nbsp; Restrooms at start and along the way.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="font-size: 18px;"&gt;&lt;font face="Verdana"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;Weather looks to be nice in mid-70's.&amp;nbsp; Ride will be cancelled if air quality worsens.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Steady pace, about 17 miles and about 600 feet total gain&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is a pre-picnic ride to work your appetite up. It's not a very long ride, so we should be done in plenty of time for the picnic. The route is familiar, much of it on the Centennial Trail, and passing through the world-famous Catherine Creek Covered Bridge.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Please meet at Lundeen Park at 9:45 AM for the all-important safety briefing. 10:00 AM rollout&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Please have route on your phone, GPS device, or paper.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Please have necessary flat repair/tube replacement tooling and supplies.&lt;/p&gt;
